What did ________ do today, is an official white house publication, for each president.    The issues for the current admin, took a decisive downturn, when the Epstein stuff became fashionable to cover.   Normally, each issue makes the relevant prez glow with magnificence.

I'm still on a post protest high, with only a little sadness starting to creep in. Personally, I can only compare this to finally going to a concert of a favorite rock band. You buy the ticket, wait some weeks for the big event, attend and wait in suspense as the band walks on the stage. Great chaos erupts for two or three hours...and then what? Back to the mundane. But you provide needed advice!

Thank you. There was no danger and no conflict, but the feeling of living in a time of large-scale societal change in the company of many thousands of other people is inherently tiring. Children were leading call and response while hundreds of us waited for the train to go home. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced before.

You may rest and renew too. Maybe take a writing break or a whole weekend outdoors, immerse in nature? Weather here is perfect for it. As they say in London, "Bright and dry"

You must be able to see inside my soul Gloria — you know what lights me up. Unfortunately it’s not possible at the moment, as my family needs me. But I shall think of you savouring the beauty of fall, and that in itself will bring me joy.
