I’ve felt a kinship with you, dear Lori, from day one.
I, too, was four when I begged to learn more about God. I was younger than that when I had my first spiritual experience and met a man who called himself, Jesus. While I’m not religious, I do find the pursuit intriguing.
At first I was worried I was about to be preached to by someone I’d trusted not to but this appears to also be in part a complicated relationship with one’s God of childhood changing. Thank you for being clear without oversimplifying. In metta
I almost never stop at an authors opening lines with my preconceptions and do my best for my students to do the same. I look forward to your next chapter!
I'm a Masters degree spiritual counsellor with many decades of experience. I bravo your courage and will look forward to next Sunday and Zimbabwe. Bless you.
I totally understand what you are going through and I pray you will find the light to keep going because your writings are incredible and very helpful. Your writings have helped me to understand the sadness that is going on in America. Please keep writing.
Lori, you have amazing strength and courage! Your story is painful and inspires deep empathy as well as some much needed courage for me.
We have moved from home hospice care to a Hospice House an hour from our home. Getting professional help for Henry with space for me to sleep in his room is the best I can imagine . Your prayers for courage, support, and equanimity are needed and appreciated 🙏
Sending you my best for light, love, and peace💖 for you and your loved ones.
Thank you Lori for sharing your journey. I'm looking forward to the next installment. It reminds me of my own journey which I would enjoy sharing with you.
Super start. Keep on keeping on.
Thank you Susan.
Beautiful. Want you to be safe and strong. It will be an honor to wait for more.
Thank you Robin, that's really kind of you.
Another beautiful piece of writing!

No preaching here Sabrina, I promise — only the desire to boost our hope. Thank you for seeing me, and giving me the benefit of the doubt.

I agree with Aleithia! Please start writing David, if you haven't already.
I have not yet started but I will this week. Thank you.
Tag me when you do please, David — I look forward to it!
I'd love to learn of it. Consider sharing it with all of us.
