In yesterday’s post, I covered how to prepare before attending the April 5 national protest. That included dressing to move and stay anonymous, limiting what you carry, protecting your phone and data, planning your route in and out, knowing your rights, and deciding whether it’s safe for you to be there at all.
If you haven’t read that yet, please go back and do so—it matters. Once you’re on the ground, things move quickly. Preparation is what gives you options.

Getting there ahead of time gives you a chance to get the lay of the land—where police are stationed, where the exits are, where the tension is building.
